What is Civil Club?

The Civil Club is a student society for all Civil Engineering undergraduate students at the University of British Columbia (UBC).

Students automatically become members of the club upon entering Civil Engineering. The club is managed by a group of volunteers who fill various positions in the Executive. The Civil Club holds weekly meetings in The Loft (CEME 2215) at the time below. All civil engineering students are welcome to attend the meetings, and they are not required to be on the Executive to participate or get involved. The Civil Club broadens learning beyond an academic degree and fosters pride in the multi-faceted accomplishments of our members. Through diverse and effective services and events addressing the needs of its students, the Civil Club builds a welcoming environment for members of the civil engineering community and UBC communities, past, present, and future.

The mission of the UBC Civil Engineering Club is to improve the university experience of students in civil engineering and represent them to the EUS, the AMS, the Faculty of Applied Science, and the Department of Civil Engineering.
